STEP 1: Download & Fill Up Application Form
Download and fill up the application form. Also, prepare all the mandatory submission documents by referring to the application checklist.
STEP 2: Submit Application To MTCSMEC
Completed Application forms with supporting documents need to be sent to the Ministry of Trade Co-operatives, Small and Medium Enterprises and Communications at either one of the following addresses:
Postal Address: P O Box 2118, Government Building, Suva
Hand delivered/courier: Level 3, Civic Tower, Victoria Parade, Suva
Or email to: apply@fijianmade.gov.fj
STEP 3: Application Processing & FRCS Inspection
1. In compliance to National Building Code of Fiji under Public Health Act, all building must be constructed as per approved plans and to be inspected by NFA after completion, to confirm compliance to minimum requirements Receipt of application and acknowledgment by Desk Officer via email (1 working day)
2. Desk Officer scans application, updates FMBF Register and emails FRC, copying applicant for inspection (1 working day)
3. FRCS inspects manufacturing process (2-3 working days)(with reference to Australia and New Zealand standards).
STEP 4: Endorsement Of Approved Product(S)
1. Desk Officer prepares:
– Matrix and circulates via email to compliance committee (1 working Day)
– Flying Minutes for circulation to Compliance Commitee’s comments (1-2 working Day)
– Certificates and Schedule of Approved Products
– Prepares minutes to PS and Hon. Minister for endorsement
2. Desk Officer prepares (1-2 working days):
– Scan endorsed Minutes, Certificates and Schedule of Products
– Email Certificate to Companies/ Individuals with schedule of products and
– EPS/PDF copy of approved Emblem
– Update FMBF Register
– File Away
