Application for Structural Fire Safety Compliance Certificate

Service Description

This e-service allows companies or businesses to apply for Application for Structural Fire Safety Compliance Certificate with the NFA.

Compliance with Fiji’s Laws and Regulations

In compliance to National Building Code of Fiji under Public health Act, HASAW Act 1996 and NFA Amended Act, 2009, buildings must be constructed as per approved plans and to be inspected by NFA after completion including existing buildings for new business, to confirm compliance to minimum requirements as follows:
1. Fire resistance and stability
2. Access and egress
3. Fire services and equipment
4. Building use
5. General Housekeeping
6. Fire Safety & Evacuation Training (With reference to Australia and New Zealand standards)

All companies or businesses.

How To Get Started?
  1. Proceed to the Fiji Revenue and Customs Services (FRCS) TPOS to register for a Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN).
  2. Once you submit the application, two separate emails with your login credentials will be sent to the email address you provided; one with the User ID created during the sign up and another with a temporary password, which would be used for your first-time login to TPOS.
  3. When you log in to the portal for the first time using the temporary password, you will be asked to change your password. You will not be able to proceed without changing your password.
  4. Once the password has been changed, new taxpayers would have to apply for a TIN in order to be able to access any other service available on the portal.
  5. For Existing taxpayer, One Time Login Code (OTLC) must be requested to FRCS by the user via email on info@frcs.org.fj prior to signing up.
